Residential Deputy

The Office of the Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator has an opening for a Residential Deputy. Our office is located in downtown Louisville in the Fiscal Court House Building. Our mission is the fair and equitable valuation of residential and commercial real estate, motor vehicles and personal property in Jefferson County. We are an agency of Kentucky State government.

The opening is for a new position that will be responsible for research, analysis and maintenance of a current property sales tracking data base, which is based upon MLS sales and other sources. The position will also include the management of the exempt property process, as well as other jobs as assigned. A candidate should have a good working knowledge of the Excel Database, good computer skills, and the ability to perform analytical tasks. A background in real estate would be helpful.

Salaries are based upon experience and the level for which qualified. Benefits include a medical plan, holidays, annual and sick leave, retirement programs and other supplemental benefits
